Bernard Dubourg’s No 1 wine. The grape composition is 65% Merlot & 35% Cabernet Sauvignon. A powerful, fruity & complex red wine, the kind that wins competitions. It was, in fact, the best Premieres Cotes 2000 of the year, voted by a panel of wine experts, winning the Trophee Rouge £18.95
Chateau Lacaze-Bellevue 1998
This is one of our selection of ‘Plain’ Saint-Emilion. Nevertheless, as befits our selection, this wine is not so much plain as full-bodied, round & aromatic, emphasising finesse rather than power, at a reasonable price £24.50

Chateau la Gravette des Lucques Rose 2003
The grapes consist of 50% Merlot with 50% Cabernet Sauvignon with the aroma of refreshing white with the fruit of delicate red. Quite unlike most roses £13.95
